Carousel is a restaurant situated in central Stockholm. The interior is reminiscent of a French 20's bistro, with a large carousel as the centerpiece of the decor. The menu offers a variety of southern European cuisine.

We were asked to develop the design identity: everything from logo, business cards and artworks to menus and coasters. Inspired by the idea of a carousel as a bizarre and irrational place, combined with the French 20's bistro feel of the restaurant and its architecture, led us to gaze at the modernist art movement in France. We sought a feeling and an expression sprung from Dadaism and Surrealism.
